Deep purple ruby. Rich dark fruit with hint of chocolate, spicy cinnamon. Obscured steel smell. On palate, full of black currant. Medium acid and tannin give well balance. Medium long bitter finish. Hot mouthfeel.
Surprisingly, this cab & Merlot blend with NZ brand, Australia vineyard and women winemaker.
Young, worth trying. — 10 years ago
Amazing intensity but I do not prefer the amount of oak that obscured charm — 9 years ago
Deep purple glass with violet rim. Medium nose obscured by high alcohol 15.5% with blackberry, blueberry, tobacco, smoke, cola, vanilla and mint. On palate, well balanced tobacco, black pepper, chocolate and smoke. Young medium tannins leads to a long finish of dark chocolate, coffee and mint/pepper. At $24.99 not cheap but fair, Better in 2 years? High alcohol may downgrade experience for some. — 10 years ago
White burgundy at a crazy value. Big oakiness with salinity slightly obscured. Big acidity in finish. — 11 years ago
Deep violet glass with translucent violet rim. Nose slightly obscured by 15% alcohol but still rich with bing cherry, blackberry, tobacco, cedar, vanilla and black pepper. On the palate, medium full body adds oak, smoke and a little dark chocolate to the berries and spice. Pronounced young tannins lead to a rather dry medium length finish with leather and black pepper. Good with food or sips like a dry Shiraz/cab. Sublime value at $12.99 USD. — 10 years ago
The freshness and mineral components are kind of obscured by some new oak which manifests itself in a sort of creamy cocoa/chocolate aroma, which isn't the best compliment to what Valtellina is, IMO, but it's still a really good wine. Powerful mountain herb bouquet, great tension. Nebb!! — 11 years ago

Bit of H2S? Meaty.
Balanced mouthfeel, tannin has definitely been obscured by Brett. Super round, soft. Cuddly. — 9 years ago
