This is the cheapest I've ever seen this wine, $42 at the local bottle-o. Quite pretty and super bright. Sweetly plum fruited at times but shows some blueberry, musk, cherry, tea leaves, very old oak and a very, very feint ground clovey-spice. High-ish acid, low tannin type of deal showing a lot more brightness again in the palate with some lucious red fruit. There's a real floral note that comes through from time to time but it's insanely hard to put a finger on it. — 9 years ago
