This wine was a great surprise, great value for the $13.99 price! A little tropical and earthiness on the nose, but on the palate it really came alive - crisp with a bit of effervescence, good acid and retaining the fruit flavor. Elegant with some cream/toast on the nose into a fascinating linear palate with a really interesting saline quality. I have tried the top Sorte O Soro cuvée from this vintage and this is not far from that quality. — 10 years ago
