Gosset Excellence Mag, with the notorious @Jason W Smith. Use caution! — 10 years ago
@DavidTraynor76 comes over for din-din the other day and he brings us this: oh boy!! Huge wine!! However, unlike most other Red Mtn. reds, this one lacked that notorious fruit expected from this region. Huge oak was there, fruit a little less. I'm not sure why that may be!?! '10 red Mtn fruit was massive, just not this one. I'll give the rating the benefit of the doubt, but you can be sure that I'll do a bit of research. Maybe I'll call winemaker Scott Williams and ask him what he did with it. — 11 years ago
Drinkable, but completely forgettable. Not much else to say. — 8 years ago
I guess that's precisely the notorious New World butter bomb, only that it's grown into a termonuclear creamy monster over past 11 years. Caramel, roasted almonds, candied apple, a bit of overripe melon — quite majestic nose. Feels a bit too advanced, but still kicking. — 10 years ago
Probably the best Riesling Auslese I had so far, outgunning even the notorious JJ Prüm, in my opinion. Only leaving points open for possible surprises in the future. This stuff is amazingly delicious. — 9 years ago
My favorite value cote-rotie producer by far. This is complexity in a glass. Brooding black and red fruit. Deep overripe to rotting raspberries and black cherries. Fresh mint leaves and finely ground black peppercorn with that notorious torched underbrush sense. Cedar and smoked ham notes on the finish. This is a winner for sure. 2010 vintage was blockbuster as well. — 10 years ago

With high intensity aromas with hints of notorious integrated with nuances of smoked, roasted and spicy black fruits of the barrels. VARIOUS 89 tasters The palate is integrated with silkiness giving way to the freshness of fruit and toasted oak, proudly MEXICAN — 10 years ago
Love it. That notorious 2011 vintage did little to stem he flow of great Chardonnay from Victoria's best vineyards and handlers. This has just enough ripeness to the citrus and stone fruits, the oak is superbly judged in its structural and flavour contribution and the acids give it great line and length. A delicious, refined drink. — 11 years ago

You sir, are a mouthful - full bodied unfiltered Riesling with bright green apple, pineapple, honey suckle - not typical slate or petrol but the acid was still there which made this quite the food wine...at the NOTOrious Crocfisso — 8 years ago
