Nogne O dark Horizon 4th Ed. Fucking exceptional. Dark fruit, chocolate, coffee nose. Taste exhibits a level of complexity rarely encountered in a beer. Some booze with fruit and sweet graham cracker to start, followed by extremely bitter chocolate with a chalky mouthfeel, then comes an abrupt wave of deep espresso. This all occurs over the course of 45 seconds, then the experience concludes with subtle tropical fruit and novacaine. — 10 years ago
Perfect with the salmon. Drank it with eirik and elly from Norway. 2005 vintage had a nice crisp finish and smooth right from the start. Lovely wine. — 10 years ago
Deep malty flavor - couldn't drink an entire bottle but the tasting I had was perfect rolling into the holidays :) — 10 years ago

Hexamer goes glacier. It fits well. Still one of my favourite wine of this Producer. Clear, pure, bursting acidity paired with yellow fruit. Enjoyed out of a Plastik cup at almost 2000 Meters in Norway — 10 years ago

Aquavit brings me home. This is Occidental. A #cocktail with Linie aquavit, Grand Marnier, Amaro and a Fernet Branca rinsed coupe glass. Linie is shipped from Norway around the globe while it is aged in old cherry casks. So awesome! Garnish with an orange twist and you're good to go. — 10 years ago

Tastes more like a German dunkleweizen, good chocolate, coffee, and malt but a little too thin for a stout. No way can I tell it is 9%. — 10 years ago
