Slight nod over the Rivers-Marie 2013 Gioia (still very fruit driven) and Failla 2013 Occidental Ridge. The Littorai was the most evolved and Burgundian of the bunch. — 11 days ago
One of the bottles that didn’t go bad in storage yay, very very good — 19 days ago
Pop and pour. A brilliant medium gold color. On the nose: lemon, grilled pear, crushed stone, apricot, caramel, and honey. Taste: chalky, lean acid driven style with pear, steely minerality, green apple, saline, orange/lemon rind, and a medium plus finish. YUM! My favorite Napa chardonnay. — 19 days ago
Crunchy red berries and blueberry, rosemary and other herbed de Provence aromas as well, lively acidity, lovely balance, doesnt show heat (even though it’s 14.5% ABV), long, lingering finish, beautiful old vine (70+ years) Carignan from a vineyard at 2,400 feet elevation in Mendocino County!! — a month ago
Good! The last half bottle was definitely corked. This one was lovely. — a month ago
Consistently excellent Bordeaux-style red blend
(Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Malbec, and Cabernet Franc)
Fruit forward cherry, plum, blackberry, with a nice oakey finish

Yes, I picked this and yes, it is what I expected. New worldy but enough driving acid to finish strong. — 7 days ago
