If Canada starts to make good wine, we have not finished drinking...

Lots of oak on the nose right off the bat, but halfway through the bottle this hits it's stride and never looks back. Mind boggling. — 8 years ago

Young and bright high tone fruit. Acidity a bit over the top in first day. Second day the wine calmed down and showed some beautiful fruit, earth and blackened pepper notes. — 7 years ago
Not too strong, and it has good flavor. I enjoyed it! — 7 years ago
Bright red fruit flavors with lush tannin. This wine can enjoyed on its own, with friends, on a sunny day. Or with rich duck confit and bbq'd red meats. Can't beat the price. -wine batman — 8 years ago

Old Calabria is number one on my personal travel books top list, wrote by that British genius who was Norman Douglas. Now this is the optimum wine to pair with such a reading: rarity, daring, intensity... only to mention few of the features we'got stated in here. Name of the wine's: 'A Vita - La Vite, The Vine in Calabrian dialect in harmony with The Life/La Vita as well - it focuses from the start the insane complexity and discloses the fleeing of the whole subject in itself! Salute e lunga Vita, thou good Old Cirò! — 9 years ago
Nice complexity and fruit that is somewhat more acidic than expected for a Shiraz but works really well and with a smooth finish — 9 years ago
What a great treat to try. Thanks Norman for the awesomeness. — 10 years ago
