Who says cheap wine can't be good? Smoothe, balanced, and potent without turning you off. Definitely a staple for standard wine! — 8 years ago

Very good low budget Zin, much better than some twice the price point.
Sweet with lots of spice... — 6 years ago
Great wine. Long finish with notes of cherry and spice. Will certainly continue to improve with age. — 6 years ago
I love this wine. I love this wine because it exists all the way at the 'painstakingly clean and precise' end of the skin-contact spectrum. Don't get me wrong, I love the super-natty wild and wooly and of the spectrum too. But this. This is so purely and exactly what it sets out to be. And I love it. — 7 years ago
Not very complex, but nice earthiness and easy to drink.. — 8 years ago

Very sexy...reminds me of a Washington cab, maybe from DuBrul. Now if only the Easter bunny would bring me a bottle of Le Dome — 10 years ago
We had the pleasure if meeting Kelby the winemaker when he was in town last summer. We really enjoyed the wines from the Finger Lakes. — 11 years ago

MGM minnetonka. Mild. Easy drinker. Little spice at the end. Would buy again. — 6 years ago
A savory juicy textured herbal food pairing champ. Like cooking sous-vide with an immersion circulator, what was once a geeky oddity has found a permanent home on our table. Not a universal solution, but really the right tool for the job in certain situations. Like pan seared halibut with fennel or spring vegetable risotto. — 6 years ago
Enjoyed at Cecconi’s in Dumbo. — 7 years ago
Had to open another bottle as the tannic structure in the last one was so striking. Decanted for the bulk of the day as this was tight & tannic for several hours. The decant is the key as it is now a pleasure of smoky red fruit & light herbal quality. Will check back on these in a few years. Serious stuff. — 8 years ago

Best $8.00 bottle of wine I've ever had. Very smooth and tasty. — 9 years ago
Classy Zin - good to drink even without decanting. Tasted really well together with hazzelnuts in chocolate. — 11 years ago

Juicy and bolder than the ‘12, but still plenty of acidity and loads of red pomegranate, red currant, and other red fruits. Stone notes, too. This is a terrific addition to a dinner. — 5 years ago
