So me and Gary A... My Xavier brother from over 25 years back, in Coral Gables. Pizza and Tignanello... This 09' is young... So dry on the open, your cheeks get turned inside out... Fruit later on... My humble opinion, as good as the 96' not even close to 08' though... Still perfect way to start the weekend... — 11 years ago
Wow, this is an amazing and unique SB. Bold, dense, yet very drinkable. Honeydew, apricot, apple and melon. — 6 years ago

Refreshing red, spicy fruit. Good mouth feel. Exciting spicy red nose with chorizo overtones, and a moderately long finish. Lovely food wine. — 8 years ago

Sipping Fine Wine
Tried a Sample and bought a bottle. In 1989, Melville Vineyards, was founded in Sonoma, where Ron Melville grew high quality, Chard, Merlot, and Cab Sauv. In 1996, Ron's desire to grow Pinot Noir brought Melville Vineyards to Lompoc's Sta. Rita Hills, in Santa Barbara County. Ruby with aromas of sweet red fruits and vivid spice. Flavors of raspberry and strawberry, currant like, adding cinnamon and leathery notes. Fine tannins, lingering ending with nice mouthfeel bringing back fruit and subtle spice. Nice! — 6 years ago
