Pear and apple skin with a hint of green herbs. Juicy with a touch of viscosity to the pear and apple fruit. Subtle and cleansing minerality on the finish. — 6 years ago

Very nice Port at Bandaloop in Kennebunkport, Maine — 6 years ago
I was worried that this would be past it’s prime by now-Ha! Not even close. Deep, heavy, dark, tannic as hell, but really smooth- I could have waited another 5 years. My good fortune that the winery is back in Vancouver for this week’s wine fest! — 6 years ago

At #Summa2014, here is one of foreign guests. Smooth, salty, lightly aromatic, Very very good :) — 10 years ago
Very well balanced, not too sweet, not too alcoholic, and really lets the red wine and tannins shine through. — 5 years ago

One of the great Douro wines, took over by Dirk Niepoort - resulting in an elegant and balanced wine, with nice concentration and character but also freshness, making this wine really friendly and a sure value to open with winelover friends - Morgadio da Calçada Reserva is a selection of the best grapes from Provezendearea, in order to produce a complex wine, maintaining the typical freshness and balance. This is the 4th edition of this wine with Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz being the main varieties. 😄👏
