Wines, named after her children - Luca, Dante & Nicola - background of the label is the McDermott coat of arms of her American husband, Daniel McDermott. Single-vineyard wine from land belonging to the Laborde family. Deep red with big ripe fruits & smoky oak. Palate plum & jammy blackberry, spice with nice earthy character. Tannins are a bit rustic, lingering ending with toasty oak & spice. — 5 years ago

Eccezionale blend di tempranillo, merlot e cabernet Sauvignon. Un vino davvero longevo che presenta dei tannini nobili e delicati che rimandano a profumi e sensazioni di frutti estivi di amarene e ribes. In bocca persistente e aromatico con note di vanilla e di pepe bianco. Un legno dolce lo avvolge, quello delle foreste francesi di Allier. Fantastico e con un sorprendente invecchiamento che ne conserva ancora un colore pieno con sfumature granate. Un verdadero placer! — 7 years ago

First of all, go to Coquinarius in Florence. Nicola is a killer wine guy and friend. We had this our third and last time there (we were only in Florence for 3 days too...). This is still in a youthful and fruit-driven stage, with juicy and expressive sour cherries and a touch of orange peel. Score is for drinking now, but the structure and impression of density in the flavors make me want to check-in again at the 10 yr mark. — 9 years ago

ネッビオーロらしい華やかさと鉄っぽいニュアンス。
果実味は柔らかい甘さで、タンニンはなめらか。綺麗に熟成していて、まだまだフレッシュな感じもある。
味わいは自然派の作りらしく、透明感があって、染み込み系。癒し系バルバレスコ。
ただ、年末に飲んだジュゼッペコルテーゼの方が、より複雑で重心の低さと上質感を感じられるワインだったかな。 — 5 years ago
