Bright fruit beginning, a little tartness of youth, solid and thick structure showing some deeper roots. — 8 years ago
Great siciliano vino Carlo Hauser winery. The winery that made the wine that got me hooked 25 years ago. This wine is all about style, silky tannins, black berries, black licorice, volcanic minerals...and this wine was purchased in Florence. We drank a couple of bottles with Nicholas Ruth and Cristina Anel Ruth. — 9 years ago

Cuvée Nicholas François Billecart — 9 years ago
I tried the 2009 Pearce Maxwell's Cabernet tonight. This Cabernet blend has a nice bouquet of red fruits, tobacco leaf and earth. It is a deep dark velvety pleasure to drink. There are hints or BlackBerry, Oak and a touch of Cassas that hangs around like a warm memory. The tannins show themselves nicely in a lovely lingering finish. We drank this as a stand alone drink, but it would lovely with food. #coombsville #napa #ajpearce — 10 years ago
Another refreshing and easy going wine from Nicolas. Can't wait to see how the vineyard develops as it was just planted in 2007. — 10 years ago
