Absolutely delicious champagne. I think the only other Dom I’ve had from 04 was the metamorphosis. This is much nuttier - in a nice way. Fine bubbles, great mouthfeel, very long finish, good acid. Overall perhaps slightly less refined and deep than I was hoping, but still a treat. Nice pairing with a shrimp etouffe that I was inspired to make after a recent trip to New Orleans. — 7 months ago
Color of really light tea. Nose is a bomb of ripe and sweet citrus and lime, sprinkled with a bit mineral. Nose is decent. Taste is refreshing with sweet tropical fruit, some flowering note, a tiny bit nutty and warm from alcohol. Light on the acidity side. After taste shows some more rind to wrap things up. Perfect for hot summer. — 9 months ago

So, just arrived in Australia this morning for some wine exploring, and my wife wanted a wine we could sip, so here we are drinking Kiwi Sauvignon Blanc. As fine as the “regular” Greywacke SB is, this wine seems another level up, gooseberry aromas and flavors, really complex, actually reminds me of the early Cloudy Bay SBs we drank a fair amount of after visiting the Cloudy Bay winery back in 1994. — 6 months ago
