I love New Zealand’s wine, their strong taste and aroma, almost no aftertaste, especially if compared to French or Italian good Sauvignon blanc. — 5 months ago
True to the region. Nice bouquet with flavors of green apples and honey dew. Good finish. Maybe a bit sour in the middle. — 6 months ago
A mid straw yellow in colour. Aromas are lemon and lime, lemongrass, mineral, wet hay with toastiness and lanolin starting to emerge at 13 years of age. Light bodied but great intensity - a richer texture for a Semillon, bearing in mind that this wine sees no oak at all - stainless steel all the way. Only 11% alcohol. Luckily I have 4 bottles left - a cellar life extending to 2030+. — 7 months ago

Excellent example of why Marlborough Sauvignon Blancs are my favorite Sb wines. Crisp, clean, light yellow with a hint of green. Just unripe peach, sweet bell pepper. Wonderful. — 5 months ago
Nice, young, tight knit. Light on Franc herbaceousness, but firm and fine in its structure. Best in 1-5 years from now. — 6 months ago
Pale lemon with pronounced aromas of grapefruit, guava, and passionfruit. Herbal notes of green bell pepper, grass, and jalapeño, with hints of white pepper and lychee. Lime and melon are noticeable on the palate.
Dry with a medium body and high acidity, it is well-balanced with a long and zesty finish. A youthful and vibrant Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.

While its name doesn’t sound like an SB from NZ, it sure tastes like one. Pronounced passion fruit, a little green apple, and more lime than other Sauv Blancs. Refreshing and great value at TJs. — 8 months ago
Just ripe peach, some grassy notes. A little green bell pepper. Very drinkable. Another excellent NZ Sauvignon blanc. — 9 months ago
I’m a believer in terroir, but this wine, which is an absolute ringer for Chablis, throws everything in question. If this were grown at Rorick with its limestone that would make sense, but semillon from the Napa valley floor? Out of the bottle it’s quite lithe, showing lemon and a bit of seashell minerality, but with an hour of air it begins to show some crisp apple and white stone fruit, and some white flower. Lovely, unusual wine. Enjoyed with grilled salmon and salad. — 5 years ago

Love this Marlborough Sav Blanc. Beautifully balanced sweet stone fruit and tangy acidity. — 8 years ago
This wine is excellente! Deep silky dark fruit. This is a great sipping wine, yet it will sing with a thick steak or juicy grilled pork chop. This is a 2007, so good luck finding one. — 9 years ago

Slight yellow tint with an aroma explosion of jasmine, grapefruit, passion fruit, and lime. Slightest tartness. Really nice SB. — 5 months ago
