Bursting fruit, smooth with no undesirable bite of over eager tannins — 8 years ago
Fucking magic! Macerated strawberries in a meringue nest. Drooling. Multi layered. Earthy. Generous. Beautiful. — 8 years ago
I'm actually drinking the Eagle's Nest Pinot Noir and it is wonderful. Full of spicy flavours! — 8 years ago
Blind tasting, wine number 4, bag number 3. Bright red and clear. Love the nose, black olives, cherries and hummus. Moderate tannins (6.5/10), and moderate body. Nicely integrated between the size of the body and tannins, but would love to try this in a few years by then hopefully the little bit of heat wears off. Nice amount of dark fruits as well. Lingering finish but is smoother than bottle number 5 and 6. My third favorite of the night. — 9 years ago

Another one bites the dust... — 10 years ago
Herbal nose with very dark fruit. A medium body free of tannin and abundantly expressive with cherry notes. My fiancé said it's like hot chocolate for adults. (But I think adults still drink hot chocolate.) It's lovely to find such a refined wine. — 10 years ago
White pepper. Frozen peach. Sumac. Huge carbonation. Great mousse. — 11 years ago
Another great bottle with a great mate — 12 years ago
Le Pich is the Wappo Indian term for "golden eagle," and this wild birds wingspan is massive. It will come in fast and hard and treat you like a helpless mouse in the field and swoop you up into the sky in its grape soaked talons. But then, what a ride once it opens up! "Nice eagle", you say..."take me to your nest and do what you do." It's like getting punched in the face followed by a tantric massage. This is the stuff of awesomeness. — 8 years ago
Total wine Palm Springs, $6.49! — 8 years ago
Impressive merlot, great fruit followed by good structure making it a big boy Merlot not that flabby stuff all too common. — 9 years ago
I like ginger. I like Hitachino Nest. Together they are awesomer. That's all I have to say about that. 😆 — 9 years ago
