Whoa nelly. Like little electrical bursts shooting their way across your tongue. Super sour acidity, though not burning battery - supple and round enough to make sense. A little madness, some farts, all sorts of Pinot earth and fruit with zweigelt mouthfeel. Hard to forget, whether you dig it or not. — 8 years ago

Whoa, Nelly! Wild strawberries, blueberries, stewed cherries and red plum intermingled with black tea and a mesquite-smoked meaty flavor. This wine is all over the place in a good way. Somewhat cidery, somewhat vinous and reminiscent of a fizzy Poulsard (it's 100% Blauer Wildbacher). It's like Bugey-Cerdon goes to Steiermark but keeps things pretty dry. I've had this twice in the last two days, and the first time was noticeably more fizzy than the second. That being said, it was super-enjoyable on both occasions, regardless. — 8 years ago

Ok @Todd Abrams so this has some burgundy characteristics like an old aged burgundy but it is dense like a Bordeaux.
