Always lovely to try and one of my favorite old- school napa producers. This is nicely perfumed but already starting to show a little age. This vineyard is now known as Bedrock's Oakville Farmhouse bottling. Negrette, petite Sirah, mondeuse and zin (mainly) planted in the 1930's. — 11 years ago

100% Negrette. I get a little bit of oak and slate and a violet floral scent. A bit of red apple skin and tart wild berries with a nice stoney, slate quality on the palate and a long finish with perfume and incense notes. All of the Mourat wines have been great so far. — 11 years ago
