A blend of mostly Cab Sauvignon with small amounts of Malbec, Petit Verdot & Cab Franc from their estate-owned Napa Valley vineyards, aged 18 months French (62%) & American oak (38%) (about 50% new). Palate, complex flavors, blackberry, plums & cherry with sweet spice, oak & tobacco notes. Well balanced with good acidity & developing tannins. A blend of mostly Cabernet Sauvignon and aged for 23 months in French oak, deep Ruby color with aromas of dark ripe fruit with sweet herbs, floral and complex spices. On the palate flavors of ripe plum, blackberry and currants, licorice, cinnamon spice, sweet oak, vanilla and cacao. Well integrated with fine soft tannins, the wine is complex yet enjoyable now and will continue to age. Long finish ending with savory oak, tobacco and slight earthy vanilla spice.
