Limited Dan Murphy's release.
Nose opens up with poached strawberries, sour cherries, cranberries, graphite, flint, gun powder.
Cola, malt, dried rose and jasmine petals, freshly turned damp earth, autumn underbrush.
Palate is impressively vibrant, long and focused; popping red cherry candy like acidity.
Tannins shine at the mid-palate and carry a liquorice balsamic like long finish.
More old-world than I expected, more Barbaresco than Barolo.
Great stuff!

Great punch, good acid. — 9 years ago
Damn nice cheese plate. Actually one of the best I have had in a while. The stout is perfect with its nuttiness flavors. Love it! — 9 years ago
Paired with Papa Murphy's and then heading to Savannah to "Up the Cup". — 9 years ago

Classy- red fruited high acid Syrah. Absolutely gorgeous wine. 2011 vintage. Drinks like the song Dark Entries by Bauhaus. Some wildness, but balanced with Peter Murphy's deep energetic vocals. If you don't know the song, you have no idea what I'm talking about. — 10 years ago
Very nice for the price — 9 years ago
Jason brought over for dinner. We got it in Murphy's. Yummy Pinot. — 9 years ago
A friend got this for 15 dollars a bottle from Dan Murphy's. A steal. Parker is gold standard. — 9 years ago

This is very easy to drink! I opened the bottle for a casserole dish. It was a steal at $9 bargain bin at Dan Murphy's! I'll be keeping an eye out. The Cab Shriaz from this winery is very nice as well. — 10 years ago
Well worth the grossly offensive profit margin of Dan Murphy's, similarly the blatant arrogance of the 19yo that sold me on it.

A nice Malbec. Received from the Murphy's. This was slightly chilled when we drank it and it went well with Indian food. — 8 years ago
