Very sweet, rn i like sweet wines. Best of both worlds with half sparkling half regular and it actually balances out very well — 8 months ago

Alma Rosa

Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir 2017

Alma Rosa Pinot Noir 2017: Medium-body. Perfect balance & acidity. Fine soft tannins. Aromas of red fruits & cedar with bright red fruits notes of cherry, raspberry, strawberry & cola. Smooth spiced finish. For me, this was an outstanding Central CA Pinot Noir; not overpowering, simply pleasant! Perfect Pinot Noir characteristics that can be complemented with just about any meal and for me, I paired it with a grilled beef kebab Roka salad. Great day to all! Cheers🍷 — 3 years ago

La Rosa Barolo Nebbiolo 2012

Great example of a classic Barolo with cherry fresh fruit, clean, light spice, a elegant wine that requires patience because it opens and grows over hours. — 6 years ago

Mt. Veeder Cabernet Franc Blend 2006

60% Cab Franc, 25% Cab Sauv, 15% Merlot. Rich blackberry and blueberry, minerality, pronounced fruit with nice acid balance. Tannins integrated though reemerging after 2 hours before settling back. A delight. — 10 years ago

Il Conte Stella Black Semi-Sweet Red Blend

Sweeter and Carbinated. It is actually much better than we expected. We would totally get again, just not try pairing it with Prime Rib. Lol. — 3 years ago

Lone Canyon Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2004

Absolutely amazing! Drinking form a magnum. Decanted 1.50 hours. Still strong and focused. The mint is starting to hit. Sleek. This wine is on rails and rolls like a train. No need to wait any longer. — 8 years ago

Dank, deep rose with classic Austrian red - blaufrankisch, st. Laurent, Zweigelt - notes. Plenty to mull over and also heavy enough for roasted/grilled meats. — 9 months ago

Mt. Beautiful

North Canterbury Sauvignon Blanc 2018

Lush and bright with a crisp finish. Lime, green apple, kiwi, white peach and a little melon with a smattering of herbs rather than heavy pyrazines. Lots of acidity for freshness, although a bit high in alcohol, so has some body. The oak doesn’t get in the way for me, as it often does w SB — it adds to the texture and lush mouthfeel and adds a a hint of spice, but otherwise pretty classic. — 3 years ago

Sauvignon Blanc 2014

Killer SB. Not much of a nose to speak of. Palate is delicate and balanced. Apples, sugar, and malt. Medium body. My current benchmark SB is the 2012 Adamvs. This was in the ballpark, but not quite there. — 8 years ago
