Amazing! Fruity yet not too sweet. Medium body. Easy to drink — 5 years ago
— 7 years ago
Starts tight but with intense rocky and burnt herbal/pepper aromas. Opens up to beautiful freshly oozing raspberry flavors. An iron minerality. Spiced plum. Really dope. Blueberry, very sharp finish, so much precision. A spirit lifter — 8 years ago
Earthy, dusty, Violet, red/black cherry, blueberry, earl grey tea, mint, thyme, cinnamon, nutmeg. Complex with layer of flavor. Med plus body with med to med plus acidity, med plus tannin. A beautiful st Joseph — 9 years ago

Tastes very natural - surprising! One of the final Trollat vintages. — 13 years ago
Beautiful lighter bodied st Joseph. Drink soon though, it’s the freshness that makes it the wine it is. — 4 years ago
Always a joy to check in with Souhaut. This Syrah is in a better early drinking place, oddly enough, than the Gamay. Very pleasurable with nice tannic presence. — 9 years ago
Beautiful wine blueberries and chocolate nice finish — 10 years ago
Gaillard: the gentlest giant of the Rhône whose wines are always what I want them to be and more. Wish you were here! — 11 years ago
Just starting to drink well and should improve and hold steady for the next decade. Is St. Joseph the Gigondas the Northern Rhone? A little under the radar, can deliver tremendous pleasure and value and at the same time, can be frustratingly inconsistent. — 5 years ago
Nariz: Mora, cereza, pimienta, aceitunas, Toque leve funky (brett?).

Needs time to open. It is too stiff and oaky in the beginning but softens with time. Another bottle of wine that would complement food like veal chop or something — 8 years ago
Simply stunning from one of the best. A tremendous wine with structure and integrated fruit — 11 years ago
