2011 Sec Bourillon Dorleans Vouvray La Coulee d' Argent Straw Yellow and pleasing to the eye. Floral notes on the nose with hints of green apple and perfume. Good acidity and dryness. Very enjoyable. Good citrus notes. This would pair well with any fish. For the price point well worth the $20 Bones. — 13 years ago
Dark purple, crushed rock, currant, violets. Attack reminds me of Cote d' Nuits cherry and plum but finish is textbook Beaujolais and strawberry. Tannins are silky and fine, vibrant acidity gives the wine energy. Elegant, powerful, balanced — 10 years ago
2012 was a winemaker's tour d' force and this Peter Michael offering is a titan among the greats of the vintage. VGS! — 11 years ago

Tight the first day. Was expecting it to have sunk, but on the 2nd day it sang like a choir. Gorgeous violet, lavender, and raspberry aromatics. Tense acidity. Softer tannins than I expected for Moulin-a-Vent, but they are more mouth-coating than sharp. Would have 8.8'd the first day, but this opened up marvelously. — 10 years ago
