Very unique, who knew mosaic hops and naturally carbonated Chardonnay could work so well together, great, inventive winery! — 5 years ago

Another small producer find by Metro Vino in Calgary. This is a truly unique and wonderful summer Rosé from the Bardolono Appellation is light bronze in appearance, offering a rich mosaic of wild strawberries, peach and fruit aromas. Crisp, dry, with tasty minerality and almost crunchy in its full bodied mouth feel I detected a very slight effervescence. DOC 12.5% alc/vol — 6 years ago

This has become the House red. Quite pleasant with rack of lamb. — 6 years ago
Delicious! Heady nose full of fruits and spice. Bold taste profile with a full body from grapes ripened in the Texas heat. Notes of dark fruit, cherry, spice along with a delicious long oaky finish accompanied with velvety tannins. Love it! — 8 years ago
How can this be the same grape folding paper crisp Sauvignon Blanc in places like Sancerre. Camillo Donati’s Pet Nat is another world.
Big burly broad shoulders standing 13.5 Abvs apart. Smells dank. Floral hoppy scents. Jasmine white flowers, mosaic cones.
Tastes off dry - something like a sweet white Belgian ale. Baked cinnamon apple pie all the way down.

Time for some Merlot on this #MerlotThursday. Here's a delicious one from Israel.
Inky in color with a short reddish/brick rim.
Fruity nose with blackberries, blueberries, black plums, cooked cherries, vanilla, light cedar, spices, cola, tobacco leaf, black tea, alcohol, coffee, milk chocolates, light herbs and black pepper.
Full bodied and bold with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry and fruity on the palate with cooked plums, black currants, coffee, cedar, vanilla, spices, earth, milk chocolates, tobacco, peppercorn and light vinaigrette.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a wonderful Merlot blend from Israel. Showing nice complexity and well balanced with a great mouthfeel. Really enjoyed the nose here, even after a few minutes out of the bottle.
This four year old is already yummy right out of the bottle, but better after a couple of hours in a decanter.
I've had this before, and this time I decided to give it a slight chill, and boy it was delicious.
Nice buttery mouthfeel, even looks buttery when poured. Drinking very nicely now.
Very tasty and fruit forward. Dark, extracted and rich. Feels like a Napa Bordeaux blend.
A blend of 42% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, 12% Petit verdot and 26% Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged for 18 months in French Oak barrels. Unfiltered and Kosher. Mevushal.
15.5% alcohol by volume.
92 points.

Unique hoppy aromatic profile on Arianna Occhipinti’s SP68 Bianco. It could be a west coast IPA - initially mosaic hops and grapefruit, then slowly creeping wild flowers, apricots, coriander, and exotic orange spice. Lean with good acid. The native blend (Moscato di Alessandria and Albanello) sees two weeks of skin contact. Flavors are savory floral - spicy citrus, jasmine tea, and chamomile. It’s a terrific beery wine, and though I sometimes don’t like that blurred profile, this one sings. — 7 years ago
Excellent blend of cab sav, Merlot, and cab franc — 8 years ago
Ely Cohn
Like a soapy tropical little German Pils from Scheurebe. Grapefruit scented mosaic hops and dank marijuana crystals. Hints of mango and papaya floating in the periphery. A body with some girth and buttercream to yang the ying of acid you couldn't complain about not even for a second. — 3 years ago
