Mid ruby, serious smoky oaky blackcurrants, dry, mature tannins but with bags of time to develop. A robust concentration of granary toast smithered with blackcurrant jam. Oh, and a lovely long finish.

A very pretty Morton, shimmering and pure. Lovely acidity, plush in the middle with unbaked strawberry-rhubarb character. Finish is long with iron and other mineral notes. Ready for action. Matched well with fresh tomato pasta thanks to the acidity. Looking forward to more wines from this talented young producer. — 10 years ago
Stonking! Now I've finished my supply and am struggling to replenish with this vintage. — 11 years ago

Drank this at Old Vinings Inn with Kelly Cannon, Beth Murphy and Amanda Morton before the ballet. Very crisp and smooth. Tastes like a Sauv Blanc should. — 9 years ago
