35% cherry, 65% Lacrima Di Morro d'Alba. Delicious dessert wine, having the bartender make a bourbon cocktail with it: 2parts 4 roses, 1 part this wine, bitters and orange peel — 9 years ago
Very good. Low tannin. Cherry and tobacco. Nice acidity — 9 years ago

Taste of pepper which I'm not fond of, yet it paired very well with cheese. Pepper disappeared and the flavor melted in with the cheese. — 8 years ago

Dramatic, opulent, rich. I'm already a fan of the Lacrima grape, an absolute jewel of Marche. Made from grapes dried for 120 days. Aromatic Christmas spices, dried dark roses, brandied cherries, ripe blackberries. Secondary notes of bittersweet root and bark, a touch of cacao. A great cold weather cozy sipper for fans of Amarone. Pair with blue cheese, bacon wrapped dates, or balsamic reduction anything. — 9 years ago
Beguiling bright/deep interplay. Shades of Lacrima di Morro D'Alba, Northern Rhone Syrah, Cru Beaujolais. Tannin management is well done. — 9 years ago
Love this one every time. Was particularly floral & fragrant this time around. Violets & rose petal...absolutely amazing and my fav d'alba to date. — 11 years ago

Floral, juicy purple berries, supple tannins, medium body. Super pretty and fun to drink. 2013. — 8 years ago
I love this - fresh and aromatic with a full tannic force — 8 years ago
My friend Jacob @chanteclerto put it best: "Perfumey, like violets & blueberry pie." This wine is well integrated with a whiff of oak. So juicy & drinkable - a treat to uncork the last bottle. 2008. — 9 years ago
Violets and grandma's bathroom soap on the nose. The violets stay in the palate. Thanks Fetters for the tasting note. — 9 years ago

Extremely floral nose - violets or berry blossoms and roses. Wow. Earthy and funky taste. Kylah liked it a lot, Peter not as much. A very acquired taste. Nice to try something different. — 8 years ago
