Wonderful old Muskat-Ottonel from Somló (Pieroth bottling). Golden with streaks of Amber; strong scents of candied pineapple, orange zest, mango (skin, flesh, and stone), with hints of pear brandy, marzipan, and honey blossom; well balanced sweetness and acidity but lacking a bit of a backbone (like a sweetish auslese). Still, it's keeping remarkably well. Will probably run for a few decades more before it starts diving! — 10 years ago

it SO MAKES SENSE to mash ferment traminer (like muskat ottonel et al) and add a backbone and with that more drinkability! drunk and observed this vivid wine over days - it changed constantly and made me smile with it's complexity likewise

Hahaha napokon roze onako kako ga ja zamisljam. U pravu sam...najbolji rose mora u sebi da ima Muskat Hamburg :-). Fenomenalan je. Ne previse sladak (taman), osvezavajuci, kao prolece :-). Neka neki izrazeni miris ali zato ukus...Mariji ima ukus na jagode a meni na visnje. Kupaza Muskat Hamburg, Cabarnet Sauvignon. Berba 2013 god, alkohola 12,5%.
