Wonderful old Muskat-Ottonel from Somló (Pieroth bottling). Golden with streaks of Amber; strong scents of candied pineapple, orange zest, mango (skin, flesh, and stone), with hints of pear brandy, marzipan, and honey blossom; well balanced sweetness and acidity but lacking a bit of a backbone (like a sweetish auslese). Still, it's keeping remarkably well. Will probably run for a few decades more before it starts diving! — 10 years ago

Wonderful dessert bottle! I’m really into this. Nice golden color and quite viscous. Wonderful open scents of marmalade and peach crumble. Good citrus flavors, medium brightness on those profiles. A hint of spice and salt. Really complimentary. Fabulous all around. — 10 years ago

Slovenian Dessert Wine. Rumeni Muskat refers to the Yellow Muskat grape. Beautiful tropical fruit and floral bouquet. Loads of citrus and tropical fruit flavors.
