Our favorite from Moore Bros. so far. Smells vegetal, but not rotten or mossy. Medium bodied. Dry. Not fruity, except maybe something like sour plum. Easy to drink. — 8 years ago
Intense green apple and tropical fruit with a touch of lees. Zesty and fresh. A little more structure than the norm NZ Sauv. $20 — 8 years ago
“... aromas of ripe forelle pears, white peaches, and buckwheat honey along with fleeting suggestions of linden flowers, lavender, and freshly sliced poblano peppers as the nose evolves in the glass.
“On the palate, the wine is a rounder and fuller counterpoint to racy Sancerre, with briny, sea salt-seasoned flavors of fresh pineapple, Meyer lemon, and ruby grapefruit interwoven with firmly hewn salty silex minerality.” — Moore Brothers Wine Co., Brooklyn — 5 years ago
Goes well with pizza! — 6 years ago
I love this wine. Leather, soil, cocoa, prune, touch of smoke, black tea, some cherry and cranberry, full of Nebbiolo tar & dried roses. Silky but with lush tannins. From Moore Bros. in Industry City. — 6 years ago
Day 14 of our 24 day cruise to the Amazon. Chateaubriand in the dining room tonight. Wine had an odd odor upon opening but quickly blew off. — 8 years ago
Very good Bordeaux, but the notes by Moore Bros were the most accurate I've ever come across. "...complex, exotic aromas that open with griotte cherries, ripe cassis, fresh fennel, crushed violets, and sweet herbs; adding dried figs, dark cocoa, and flecks of pencil shavings as the nose evolves...". Well, I missed the figs but otherwise, yes! And in that order. Remarkable. — 8 years ago

Our friends brought this wine to a group dinner at Yve's Bistro. I have a few of their bottlings and enjoy them all. — 8 years ago
Patrick Brunet will you marry me? Moore Brothers NYC — 9 years ago
Smooth encroaching Zin. Old school. The balance hides the 15% abv. Woodsy spice and cola and Dr Pepper. Moderate tannin. Very much enjoyed this. — 9 years ago

“In the glass, the wine has a glistening, dark royal purple color, almost black in the center, with flashes of magenta just at the edge. The classic Right Bank nose unfurls gradually with aromas of sun-warmed black raspberries, griotte cherries, and sweet white tobacco moving in and out of the foreground, sometimes alternating with Dutch cocoa, eucalyptus, and vanilla as the wine evolves in the glass.
On entry, the wine is luscious and succulent, building to a rich, juicy mid-palate, with a cornucopia of black and red fruit flavors that echo the nose, all lightly seasoned with toasted coconut, baker’s chocolate, and red berry acidity, and the long, elegant finish is punctuated with sinuous, fine-grained, dusty tannins. Drink now – 2027” — Moore Brothers, Brooklyn — 5 years ago
