Fino style PX from Montilla-Moriles. Nice example here but dominant nose of Parmesan rind and cheese cloth aroma, with some pork crackling, preserved lemon, mossy mineralogy and blanched nuts. Palate is pretty typically and shows decent length. — 9 years ago

Pale brown thick color; sweet as heck, and almost chewy texture but amazing flavours and aromas of honey, almonds and choclate. Low alcohol and acid but delicate and fine. Nice experience. — 10 years ago

There is next to nothing online about Montepila, an obscure grape from Andalucia. This winemaker uses it for orange wine, really a pale peach hue with undertones of honeysuckle, apricot, and almonds. Delicious. — 11 years ago
