Star bright rose gold with persistent tiny bubbles. Shy nose of toast with black cherry jelly. Medium toasty palate confirms the nose adding a bit of ash back palate. Finish is moderate and continues the palate. The extra dry from Montaudon packs more fruit and weight than the NV brut but is still quite dry (I'd compare it to some Champagnes on the less dry end of the brut range), and of course in the perfect place for food. — 6 months ago
