One of the best (if not the best) bottle of cab we've ever had. Drank at The Montage over Christmas. — 12 years ago
Very nice. A bit pricey but very well-balanced with lots of blackberry, plum, spice and just enough tannin. I'm not usually a Syrah fan so a bit surprised to like this so much. — 13 years ago
Amazing Chardonnay! Bold fruit, mild buttery texture and flavor. Lightly oaked, smooth on the palate. Rhubarb, apricot, and pear. Lightly dry finish. — 10 years ago

This guy is from the Vally de la Marne where Pinot Meunier is the primary grape. This region is west of the Montage de Reims region at about the same latitude.

Spiced tangerine and anise. Sweet butter and hazelnut. A touch of sourdough.
Just opened this, and it's drinking well. :)
