A Cangas blend of Carrasquín and Verdejo Negro from old vines on steep slate slopes. Stashed in new and 2nd use French oak for under a year, for a total of 2000 bottles. This is like a cool climate Priorat - dark fruit and slate, firm acid, light tannins and only 13.5%!
Still very young at 3 years, but cellaring will only improve it. — 10 years ago

Field blend of Albarín Negro, Mencía, Carrasquín and Verdejo Negro. Steep and slate soiled slope. Neutral barrels. Bright acidity to boost the black cherry fruit, easy tannins, and just enough wet slate rusticity. My favorite of their cuvées. — 10 years ago
