Definitely mature, plenty of truffle, leather & game; with time it opens up to show great complexity — 9 years ago

Enjoyable claret. Juicy lively but jammy. Nice black cherry, some savory notes. Decent length. — 4 years ago
Would have pegged this for Chardonnay. Still delicious. — 5 years ago
Big words: best red wine PM has ever made. So joyous and energetic! The kind of wine that takes you out of conversation to remark on how delicious the wine tastes at every sip! Light sparkly texture is right up my alley personally. Lovely tart fruit and some forest notes. I would find it hard to grow tired of this wine, could drink a bottle every day. — 6 years ago
Dark fruit and smoke — 8 years ago
Drank this entirely too young. Big restrained fruit with a nice tannin/acid balance, not hot or messy at all. Check in again in 5 years, would not be surprised to see this go a total of 15-20 years. — 9 years ago
Lovely at Loulay. — 10 years ago
100 percent Syrah from Red Mountain. Delicious, light to medium bodied. Apparently hard to get distributed, but worth it! — 10 years ago
Oak smell with dark raspberries and black peppers. Smith and well balanced. — 11 years ago
