A stunning Zinfandel blend of mixed oak. A very god selection for a Brazilian steak house where the meat never ends and the wine pairs with everything served. Big red. — 8 years ago
A nice sparkling wine with a great taste. Great for summer or any time you want a lightly flavoured wine. — 8 years ago
My favorite Napa field blend. Huge dark fruit nose., not for the faint of heart!! It is drinking incredibly well. Decanted 6 hours prior to drinking... was silky smooth yet with incredible intensity and depths of flavored. 😍 love it! This was the 3rd wine opened — 8 years ago
Very elegant and refined. Stewed BlackBerry and red vine licorice mixed with supple tannins. Drink now. — 8 years ago
This comes as close to perfect for me as possible. Rich, extremely concentrated fruit and oak flavors of vanilla and toast mixed with savory cloves and tobacco and faint hints (smell) of menthol - but nothing is overpowering. The tannins are silky smooth and luscious - I love this wine. (Tasting notes 3/7 - 1.5 hour decant). — 9 years ago

KWN Wine 6. Cherry tart, earth and herbaceous/vegetal notes mixed in. A silky, earthy finish. Everyone knew what this was hands down. Always fantastic. — 8 years ago
Part of me liked the unfiltered surprise that this producer had in store for me and as in other Oregon Pinot I found a lot of that blood-like minerality mixed with hints of berries and tense acidity that feels like a light punch to your mouth from a cute and fit lady.
I would rate it higher if it were a bit more typical, but still liked it. — 8 years ago

A new fav. Soft and fruity — 7 years ago
Tasted side by side with the 2013 Lineage. Tough battle but bottle age has definitely helped this bottling. Mix of deep garnet and ruby red. Straight from opening there were lots of savory elements mixed in with red and black berries. Some floral notes too like roses. As it opened up over the two hour period there was petroleum, dark cocoa and cinnamon. Over the evening, additional notes of dark ripe fruits and even more spices, even slightly savory ones. So balanced for how young this is. Started out with heavy tannins (8/10) but mellowed and rounded out to a solid moderate tannins (6.5/10) over the two and a half hour decant. Rounded medium plus body that will develop further with time. Started off with some darker cherries and light greenery with a bit of leather. Even a bit of spices. Great acidity giving this strong backbone and a semi-dry long finish. This will be singing given another five years and drink will over the next twelve. Tons of potential and very surprised by this caliber of wine coming out of Livermore Valley. Great job Steven! — 7 years ago
So intense, so complex, so long, so elegant, so beautiful. Unlike other CDPs I've tried- more black fruit mixed with the blue, the finish more fruit than herbs. It was sort of cab-like. So much going on here. I loved this. A great birthday wine! — 8 years ago
