Wild. Complex. Aromatic. Alive. Quaffable. This wine tasted like a paradox, a paradox I immediately want to open another bottle of. — 8 years ago
Very nice Nerello, seems like it lost its DOC to some Minnella Bianca — 9 years ago
Floral without the associated sweetness. Very lemony, melon notes. Soft finish. — 10 years ago
Carricante grapes with 10% of Minnella from a new venture of respected winemaker Salvo Foti: Palmento Caselle, on Mount Etna eastern side (800 mt. a.s.l.), in Milo, the center of typical whites of the region. Saltiness, texture and nice acidity all rounded in a highly drinkable white. — 9 years ago
2014 - Great vintage for this Etna Bianco blend of Carricante, Catarratto, Minnella. Such a long finish with nice melange of saltiness and smooth acidity. Great wine. #etnakalatour — 10 years ago

Wow. Predominantly carricante (with a field blend of minnella, inzolia, grecancico, and catarratto), this Sicilian white from the slopes of Mt Etna is truly unique. Deep golden hue, the wine has aromatics of violet, ash, and maybe even some iodine if you can believe it. The almost red-like quality extends to the palate, which is rich and voluptuous with evolving flavors that echo the nose. Dropping the temp a bit really brings out the latent acidity and creates great balance to support a lingering finish. Absolutely terrific wine. — 6 years ago
