Awesome crazy unfiltered white blend from Oregon dedicatedly white flowers, hazy yellow fruit , toned down pyrazine notes ...interesting and nice — 8 years ago
Decent acid, nice palate. Some viscosity. Tasty and gluggy over time. All says 15.9, which shocks me. — 9 years ago
A good Gruner always makes me hungry (must be the white pepper savouriness). This stands alone in and of itself without food. Full throttle style of GV coming at you from all angles on the palate with herbal notes, citrus and soft lees character. — 10 years ago
Light bright texture, some spice, some red bramble fruit, some herbs, some flowers. Bouncy and less extracted grenache. Yum. — 10 years ago
Chad Stock dazzles again with a genuine orange Grüner Veltliner made with skin contact in amphora. Redolent with satsuma peel & electric kool-aid acidity, this wine is meant for adventurous food, fun people, and open minds. Named for Andrew Beckham, who builds large amphora or kvevri, and a fine winemaker in his own wright. Orange is the new orange!! — 11 years ago
Fascinating carbonic Albariño...heady flowery aromatics, and lots of texture. — 11 years ago

This is the red not the grüner — 11 years ago
Interesting approach, great results! Yellow plum pit, spice, pear skin and sourdough with a very satisfying balance of weight/concentration and acidity. Used for a pairing @roepdx: scallops and prawns in bouillabaisse sauce and tarragon vierge — 11 years ago
the first bottle I opened with my bare hands at delectable. flavor on the tongue, very light aftermath. — 11 years ago
Applegate Valley Tempranillo fermented on the skins of sauv blanc and gruner in order to retain color. Incredible stuff. A wholly different view of the grape. — 13 years ago

This is the SM1 Sauv B. Really excellent and unlike almost any SB I've had before. Kind of reminds me of a 90s DD Pur Sang yet is more restrained with just as much underneath. Would be really interesting to see this with 10+ years on it. Excellent with root veg cassoulet. — 9 years ago
Really like this wine. Lightish body, nice dark fruits, earthy floral herby, etc. if it were a little bit more tannic it would be prefect.none of the more interesting American wines I've had. Very French tasting. — 10 years ago
Slightly effervescent, skin contact light, good acid — 10 years ago
Funky orange carbonic Albariño, this is for wine lovers! — 10 years ago

Really thought provoking wine. Shows how having Brett in your wine does not have to be a negative. — 8 years ago
