The label is impossible to photograph. This is the Michaud 2010 Pinot Blanc, Chalone Appellation, The Pinnacles National Monument, Monterey County. Creamy, rich & fairly complex, reminiscent of vieille vignes. Color is darker than most whites. Notes of honey or honeysuckle, peach and green apple. Just tried the Michael Michaud 2002 Chardonnay! Super interesting. A little bit of sherry and tawny port characteristics. Still fresh, though and feeling more balanced that the heavy 2010 I also tried that day (Sat). — 12 years ago
