Light sweet and crisp more of a spring time wine than a fall but would definitely get again! — 7 months ago

Dark fruits, intense colour, great legs. A real bargain. — 8 years ago
Definitely needs to open up. Was sweet on the first sip. Significant fruit tones at the outset and got dry as it opened. I would give it a good half hour and drink and enjoy. Solid choice. — 10 years ago
Still in good shape which is no easy task for a 2004 California Chard — 10 years ago
One of the few Cali SB that can compete with the top Pessac wines. — 12 years ago
The petrol note is pronounced, yet beautifully integrated. Citrus and tropical tones emerge on the nose, joined by a faint wisp of smoke. The palate has Viognier-like texture, lending weight and shape, while bright, clean-cut acidity is balanced by just a touch of residual sweetness.
It’s puzzling that Napa Valley can produce Riesling of this caliber! — 5 months ago
Balanced with front fruit and decent body. No overpowering aspects. — 6 months ago
Apple, lemon, honey, peach, oak and hints of almond. Great acidity and balance. — 10 months ago
Beautiful Zin all around. I find it a bit earthy but absolutely stunning. Wow, when I think “Zin” this is the taste, and I got it on sale for only $35! It’s pairing perfectly with my spicy Chinese food dinner. I’m imagining about 10 other dishes this will pair wonderfully with as well. — 5 years ago
This is outstanding. Quite a revelation. Honeyed, citrus, ample in the mouth and a very long finale. A steal. — 8 years ago
Stands out with its finish. Fruit forward nose that tails into lingering notes. — 9 years ago
Beautiful. Incredibly well balanced. — 9 years ago
2007 Peter Michael Point Rouge Chardonnay. HB w MnD and J&D B. We loved this wine wine so much at the Heart concert and we loved it tonight. Floral, along with notes of buttery brioche and oak. However, somewhat surprisingly, as we drank this in comp to the 2013 Ridge Monte Bello Chardonnay, it did not win out. Still such a great wine that we really, really enjoyed. — 10 years ago
Loved this. Not too rich, and yet still distinctly "chard." — 11 years ago

Really nice starting to get some secondary flavors. Overall enjoyed it. — 5 months ago
Vibrant color. Wow, it’s like the Little Red Riding-hood porridge of wine. Not too dry, bold, acidic, long, short or tannic. Just right! Absolutely delicious. Would absolutely buy again and one of the best wines I’ve had in a long time. — 6 months ago
Nose is faint, fully resolving into the body. Body is soft and supple but wonderful experience on the palate with medium finish. Great wine. Tannins are still there, but holding the body with gossamer gloves. — 8 months ago
An old standard in our household. Velvety smooth, rich juicy berries. Glad we can purchase Freakshow even at Costco in TX and have a solid, boozy Cab at the ready. — 5 years ago

Full bodied and spicy. Great with grilled ribs — 8 years ago
Amazing vintage of Peter Michael. Delicious. — 9 years ago

Great 11.99 from Harris Teeter! — 11 years ago
A dense glass-staining purple, the '06 Charles Smith Syrah 'Royal City' is a monumental wine. Big, pungent aromas of game, truffles, black olives and dried fruits exploded from the glass. Complex, but still seamlessly balanced. The tastes stayed on the palate for a seemingly infinite length of time. Simply wonderful! — 12 years ago
