30% Sangiovese 50% Merlo 20% Cabernet blend.
High acidity , average to long aftertaste. Cherry stone, so called hydrocyanic acid (acetone smell) . Enriched color due to the thick skin grapes from Bordeaux blend. Rubber tobacco ashberry mushrooms. — 7 years ago

An excellent wine from Washington bought on a lark! The wine was on sale & since I personally enjoy wines from Washington, such as Chateau Saint Michelle Merlo, I gave it a try; pleasantly surprised. Light & a bit fruity; it goes down smooth with a velvety finish. — 8 years ago

Vinarija Gesellmann, vino Bela Rex(kuve Cabarnet Sauvignon i Merlo). Alkohola 14,5%, godina 2011. Odlicno vino, u kategoriji Andy Kolwarenca. — 10 years ago
Red berries prevail in the nose and in the color, good influence of Merlo. Dried tomatoes, steel. No oak, 2 weeks of maceration on grape skin. Good minerality - chalky soils, limestone feels in the nose. 13% abv — 7 years ago
