There is something to be said about the integrity of this wine, in the way that it is completely unique and not at the mercy of trends. Many other Veeder wines right now are huge bruisers, but this wine has grace and balance. As these lower alcholol wines become more and more popular, they need to thank Mayacamas. — 11 years ago

Very proper and correct Barolo, showing no mercy even being a 2006. Tons of anise, tar, tobacco, and slight truffle. Perfect balance in the mouth with s good finish. Tannins a bit soft, which I guess could be good or bad. — 11 years ago
