A great example of Malbec. Rich but elegant only about 13.5%. A surprise. @Ronnie Sanders @Aaron Meeker — 9 years ago
Wouldn't be surprised if this is growing next to some Zin in the Dry Creek Valley as that's what blind guessed this to be, but was surprised to find out it was 100% Grenache. Light and delicious, it's like a subtle almost feminine Zin. — 9 years ago
Beautifully balanced and delicious, albeit slightly past it's peak. — 10 years ago

Nice spicy flavor cab franc! Went well with pork belly sliders! — 8 years ago
Beautiful/ 11 years of age and starting to show some dried raisin fruit characters; it is still absolutely beautiful. On the nose it displays a slight oxidation (might be from the move across the Atlantic twice with it) but taste and finish are perfect. — 9 years ago

Talking with Charlie and enjoying this big Cab Franc! — 9 years ago
Fascinating wine. More Alpine than Rhone in balance. Weight without excessive alcohol (some skin contact). Expressive minerality, nicely balanced - if not high - acidity, delicious fruit. Thanks for sharing @Aaron Meeker — 9 years ago
Smokey nose and tart finish.
Delicious! — 10 years ago

Jordan Wardlaw
Beautiful wine that turned out to be the highlight of today’s staff tasting. Reminiscent of an aged Rioja. Very elegant wine with bright red fruit character,
leather, balsamic reduction and dried herb components. Dusty tannins and excellent acidity. These textures and flavors completely bely a 15 year old Dry Creek Valley wine of 14.8% alcohol. Charlie Meeker is an outstanding and very underappreciated winemaker doing wonderful things in a range of varietals. This was my first opportunity to taste an older vintage and it was gorgeous. — 7 years ago
