Drank 2016 mcgah vineyard. At the beach. Yummy and refreshing! — 8 years ago
Saw that @Shawn R was doing it...#peerpressure
Very enjoyable rosé by @Mike Smith . Pairs nicely with 75degree TX spring days and burgers on the grill. Watermelon rind and kiwi on the nose. Strawberry-lime on the palate. Refreshing acidity. 👌 — 9 years ago

Very accessible sauv Blanc. Floral (lantana) and citrus on the nose, Well balanced favors of lime and banana and some other tropical themes. Paired well with leek and potato flatbread dusted with lemon zest. — 10 years ago
@Delectable Wine this is the 2016 Kale Wines Fountaingrove District Rosé Kick Ranch Vineyard
Second vintage of Roses we have tried from Kale, this vintage he is producing two distinct Roses. One from Rutherford in Napa Valley and this one from the Fountaingrove District in Sonoma County.
Pale salmon pink. Beautiful nose with white floral notes, red berries, like raspberries and strawberries. Mouthwatering and medium acidity (6.5/10) with a light plus body. Fresh palate with red berries, cranberries and some stone fruits. Definitely fruiter and a bit bigger than the McGah Vineyard. Long, dry and lingering finish. Delicious Grenache based Rose. Drink till 2022.
Made up of 90% Grenache and 10% Cinsault. The Grenache is gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks. The Cinsault is whole cluster pressed and then barrel fermented in neutral French oak. Only 261 cases produced. — 9 years ago
White peach, grapefruit, lime, papaya. Very elegant with a mid-palate citrus finish. Great with Rosemary crusted asiago cheese — 10 years ago

Parker’s Rating:
99 POINTS – 2013 SCARLETT RESERVE CABERNET SAUVIGNON
“The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon McGah Family Vineyard Reserve ratchets up everything to a perfect example of Napa Cabernet Sauvignon. Beautiful blueberry and blackberry fruit, an extraordinary equilibrium between acidity, alcohol, tannin and wood, stunning purity, a finish that goes on for close to a minute, and a dazzling palate presence from what appears to be an incredible terroir make this an amazing effort in Cabernet Sauvignon. This is magnificent Cabernet Sauvignon and should hit its prime in another 5-7 years and last 25-30.”

Very peachy with a nice plumpness to it. If I tasted this blind, I would of said viognier. To me not a typical sav blanc. — 9 years ago
This is one barrel, (25 cases made). It's Entre nous version of a reserve wine. Basically they take the best of the best fruit and age it in Taransaud T5 and come up with this ridiculous juice. Gorgeous aromatics of violets, pipe tobacco and dark cherry. The palate is rich yet with extremely polished and soft edges with similar notes as the nose along with subtle cedar and wild berries. Finish is soft but resonates with a kiss of mocha at the end. Great juxtaposition of fruit and texture here. This is really incredible wine. No hype here. It reminds me of 2012 Bevan Mcgah. — 9 years ago
Special wine this 2012 Round Pond PNV wine is bottle 4 of 120. The wine is one of the smoothest silkiest wines I've ever had. No idea how this will age but who cares. I will drink it now. Delicious sweet berries with a raspberry nose and blue berries, blackberries and raspberry on the palate with that distinctive Rutherford mocha sugar dust cut by just a hint of oak and vanilla. Finish goes on and on and although this is fruit forward wine it never comes across as sugary. Great wine awesome. Drinks like Bevan"s 2012 Mcgah. — 10 years ago

Massive extracted style yet the AVA stays center stage. First Bevan Mcgah for me. Awesome juice. — 5 years ago
