Wow my new fav sparkling rose. Not too dry, right balance of acidity and sweetness. — 8 years ago
Quite nice actually, and my first wine from michigan. Clean entry and smooth on the palate, a creamy caramel note lingers as it warms.. I'd drink again in a heartbeat. — 10 years ago

My favorite from Mawby. Very green. — 12 years ago
Nice crisp everyday sparkler from Michigan’s premier sparkling wine producer. Beautiful bubbles w a touch of green apple and green herbs. Crisp and refreshing but lacking the depth of the more refined offerings from Mawby, this doesn’t disappoint for what it is. — 6 years ago
I could talk all night, but I simply cannot say enough good things. Find this bottle — 10 years ago
A spur of the moment visit by good friends prompted the pouring of the pale golden-hued NV L Mawby Brut Sparkling Vignoles 'Crémant Classic'. Disgorged in Oct. '12, this sparkler displayed lively effervescence of medium-small bubbles exploding with aromas of lemon cream pie, baked bread and yellow apple with smoked almond notes. Crisp, but not tart, flavors tingled the tongue with refreshing citrus zest accents on the finish. — 11 years ago
Michigan night! Peach lemon sweeter. Always love mawby — 12 years ago

Lightning In bottle with crazy fresh acidity and fine bubbles. — 10 years ago
Needing an aperitif to accompany a charcuterie plate, I popped the cork on the pale straw-colored NV M Lawrence Demi-Sec Sparkling Blend 'Detroit' from L Mawby. Nice red and green apple aromas on the active nose. A bit of residual sugar brightened the crisp fruit flavors. An eminently quaffable summer refresher. — 11 years ago

Although I'm a huge fan of L Mawby's Leelanau Peninsula "methode champenoise" sparklers, he also produces a cheaper, more fun line of sparkling wines under the M Lawrence moniker. The pale yellow NV M Lawrence Extra Dry Sparkling Wine 'Sandpiper' emits sweet/tart apple aromas with a hint of toast. Although sweeter than a brut, it has a crisp tartness that refreshes the palate quite nicely. — 12 years ago
