A robust, still elegant red blend of the Bulgarian ingenious grape mavrud. Intense dark red colour; deep aroma of dark and forest fruits; ripe tannins and average acidity. Capable of aging in bottle. Perfect with wild meat dishes — 8 years ago
Smooth with a slight fizz. Great buy from our wine tour in Bulgaria. — 9 years ago
My first encounter with a Bulgarian wine thanks to my dear friend @Yigit Tuncel and I guess I've started from the very top. Very balanced, more fruity on the tongue compared to a cab blend in general and that should be due to the indigenous grape domination. Acceptable hints of oak and short finish. Other than taht this is a very pleasant wine which should develop into purity over 4-5 years of cellaring. — 9 years ago

Wow! What a great wine. Dried dark fruits, spices - black pepper, dark earth and forest floor like rotting leaves, bitter chocolate, silky texture and solid tannins. — 8 years ago
