Light purple color in the glass. Spice and hints of Vanilla on the nose. Took in oak on the palette. The finish was smooth with just a slight lingering finish. This is definitely one of Filippi's best wines. — 11 years ago

We are at Taco Tuesday again today, and I've decided to try a Filippi Winery 2010 Petite Sirah. The color is deep purple in the glass. I picked up berries on the nose. This medium bodied wine also has blackberry on the palette. There is also some spice on the palette and the finish, which is not too long. Overall good structure. Great smooth wine from JFilippi Winery. This blend of Tempranillo, Petite Sirah, Zinfandel, and Cab with Vanilla and spice on the nose goes down very well. I will definitely need to buy more of this one! — 11 years ago
