Really good Auxey. Corton-like richness and viscosity. Great acidity on a lengthy lemon curd finish. — 8 years ago
Lost a quarter bottle when I opened it- but what was left behind was super tasty. If only I could wring my carpet out. — 8 years ago
A lovely selection from Fat Cork. Vintage blend: 85% 2011, 15% 2010. Dosage 11g/l. Disgorgement April 2016. Very nice! — 8 years ago

Great nose: raw dry-aged strip steak, crushed rocks, peppercorns, oozy dark berry sap. Dense and minerally, this is soft-textured but with loads of tannic scaffolding. Long, clingy, minerally finish. Because it’s from Corbieres, the acids are a bit lower than, say, a Northern Rhône Syrah, but other than that it would be a dead ringer for a Syrah from that region. Great value. — 8 years ago
Holy crap. Where did I get this? Who's going to sell me lots?? — 8 years ago
Lovely bottle to celebrate last day of 2016! — 8 years ago

Racy and lean, but very balanced. — 10 years ago
The beginning of the New Years oyster feast. Lush and embracing. Those big bubbles turned into tight little orbs of deliciousness with a quickness! — 11 years ago
Mathieu has taken over winemaking and has done a fabulous job. This was all bright mid red fruits with some hues of blue and soft earthiness. Fresh & pure wire to to wire and a really nice pair with Hedy’s amazing spicy pumpkin soup. @ Plate & Bottle. Photos of, those old narly Gamay vines, Hedy’s spicy pumpkin soup, Mathieu barrel tasting and a little fireside bubbles & cheese before dinner. — 8 years ago
Delicious aperitif! — 8 years ago
The nose here is a flight to France and back. And it's not until later you realize you didn't have to pay for a ticket, but you sure as hell got your money's worth. — 9 years ago
Solid wine. Having this with some BBQ and good company. I'll be adding this to my collection — 9 years ago
