'88 vintage. This wine has aged well (no doubt coming from the cellar at La Famiglia). Still lots of fruit, tannins softening nicely, cranberry and tobacco. Really enjoyed this for New Years. — 9 years ago

At a table of Burgs, this Barolo made its presence known. Decanted in the morning and transported from Massachusetts to NYC, it was ethereal with a surprisingly dark hue. Reminds me that, for me, Barolo edges out Burgundy. — 9 years ago
