Who says sparkling wines don't get better with age even after degorgement? I bought this 1997 Giulo Ferrari about five years ago. Today it id fresh as ever, with slightly toasty notes and a perfect structure. My favorite Italian metodo classico from an excellent vintage. I toast the Lunelli family for creating this world class Blanc de Blancs from single vineyard Maso Pianizza located high above Trento in Northern Italy. — 12 years ago

What a gorgeous wine! A Gewürztraminer made at around 900 mts. altitude, in a remote valley in Trentino. Dry, long, elegant, with evident notes of hydrocarbon. Congrats! — 11 years ago

I asked for a white with Rousanne, Marsanne and Viognier grapes because I am so over Chardonnay and Sauvignon blanc - Martis Camp sommelier suggested this! Divine with friends Kelli and Steffan. Great white paired with first course salads and soups. — 11 years ago

2011 - So typical this Sauvignon blanc Alto Adige at nose and taste, with medium acidity mixed with strong sapidity. Long, enjoyable. — 12 years ago

Soft aromas of citrus, mainly lemon, with hints of stone. Dry but very juicy on the palate. Flavors of lemons and limes with lots of stone and slate. Juicy, vibrant acidity leads to a medium, bright finish. — 10 years ago
