2010 Martinelli Lolita Ranch Chardonnay. Lemony and somewhat understated with vanilla and oak, but not too much of either. — 12 years ago
I'm impressed with the staying power of the '99 Martinelli Pinot Noir 'Three Colts'. Still powerful with earthy aromas of dark fruit, minerals and tobacco. Slow developing sweet cherry liqueur flavors gradually fade to a pleasant, but dry finish. — 13 years ago

Hints of grape. Consistent. — 12 years ago
Amazingly, this '98 Martinelli Pinot Noir 'Martinelli Vineyard Reserve' as it warmed and aerated developed jammy flavors of raspberry and black cherry. Initially, on the nose no fruit was detectable, just tarry aromas of licorice, grilled meat and sage. I thought I may have cellared this one five years too long, but I do not remember this ever tasting any better. Well balanced with smooth and harmonious tannins. Sadly, my last bottle. — 13 years ago

Darker fruits; blackberries, dark cherries, stewed black plum and strawberries, raspberries on the long palate, cinnamon, touch of nutmeg, Asian spices, crushed dry rocks and a long smooth elegant finish. — 11 years ago
