Merlot me, another tasty effort from winemaker Marisa Taylor Huffaker of Rutherford Hill fame. This is a large production wine, built like a classic right-bank BDX. A blend of mostly Merlot, Cab Sauv, Cab-Franc and the odd, but certainly satisfying addition of Syrah. Acid to red, dark fruit is nicely balanced, with enough structure to last a couple more yrs.
